Kristel Meriam Hulsebos Herbert Alfonso Rosie Reith and Isauro…

A young woman moves through the bustling streets of Amsterdam like a ghost among the living - trying on new selves, dissolving into the rhythm of the night, losing and finding herself in fleeting encounters. Re-entering society, she drifts through a world that feels both familiar and estranged, struggling with the contradictions and quiet absurdity of being alive.

As she drifts between the chaos of nightlife and the stillness of a cemetery at dawn, her journey unfolds as an existential search for meaning, identity, and belonging. Recovery reveals itself not as a return, but as a rupture: the life she once knew no longer fits.

In this in-between space, she moves toward a quiet recognition: a self-stripped bare, searching for a way to exist - free from the need to be strong, grateful or resilient, and from the quiet pull to become who she once was.
